雅思G类小作文考题分析-超市取代图书馆

　　The city library is going to be replaced by a supermarket.Write a letter to your city council,in your letter:

　　-state how you heard about it

　　-explain the disadvantages of building a supermarket

　　-describe why the library is important.

　　审题:正式信，不可以用缩写，语言要书面化。“图书馆”“超市”是大作文和口语也经常出现的关键词，新老G友都应有所准备。

　　范文:176 words

　　Dear Sir or Madam,

　　l am writing to express my opinion about the proposed replacement of our library.

　　l visited the library this morning and was dismayed when I read the announcement posted onthe outside wall.Honestly,I do not think it is a good idea to replace it with a supermarket.

　　There would be at least two drawbacks if you built a new supermarket in this area.Firstly,thetraffic situation can be worsened since this issue has existed in this district for years.Secondly，local business may fail to compete with a large supermarket;which will lead to unemployment.

　　Most importantly,the library is absolutely crucial for our citizens.Although it only has a history of 30 years,this stylish building has become one of residents'favorite landmarks in our city.It carries many people's childhood memories and is playing an important role in their adulthood by organizing family reading activities regularly.The replacement will hurt citizens’feelings and cause dissatisfaction.
