　　Some people think that it is necessary to travel abroad to learn about other countries.However,other people think that it is not necessary to travel abroad because all the information can be seen at TV and the Internel.Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.(20160804)

　　International tourism has now become increasingly ommon in our world.Some people like to travel overseas to experience life,whilst others prefer to eam about a foreign country on the Internet and from the television.

　　Obviously,travelling to a foreign country is the most learning about a country.Many people choose this way for the ultimate tourism experience.When travelling overseas,visitors can gain a deep understanding of the local customs such as the local diet,festivals.It must be said that this first-hand experience is the most direct way to understand a country and its culture.In addition,to get real news and the latest information about a place,it would be better to visit the place in person as every country or region is continuously changing.For instance,only when a person arrives in the Antarctic Peninsula and sees the melting glaciers can he truly understand that we are seriously destroying the local ecological environment.

　　On the other hand,television and the Internet have undoubtedly brought us a lot of convenience when learning about other cultures,even though the information may sometimes be out of date.First when a person needs to learn about other countnes quickly,the Internet or TV programmes may be adequate to meet his needs.For example,there is no need for a geology student to travel around the world in order to finish a report.By the click of a mouse,we can gain access to a large number of published resources and databases.

　　In summary,it seems that whether a person needs to travel to a country in person or get to know a country from the television and surfing the Internet mainly depends on his specific needs and aims.

　　在当今世界，国际旅游已经越来普遍。有的人喜欢亲身前往旅游目的地去体验生活，有的人则更愿意在互联网和电视上了解另一个国家。

　　显然，亲身游历一个国家是了解一个国家最常见的方式。很多人想享受全方位的旅游体验，所以选择了这种方式。当身处另一个国家的时候，游客可以深入地了解当地的风俗，如当地的饮食、节日。可以说，这种直接的体验是了解一个国家和其文化最直接的方式。此外，每个国家或地区都在不断地变化，如果想掌握真实的、最新的信息，则最好亲自前往这个国家或地区。例如，只有当一个人到达南极半岛看到消融的冰川时，他才能切身体会到我们正严重破坏着当地的生态环境。

　　另一方面，虽然电视和互联网所提供的信息可能有些已经过时，但是它们无疑也为我们学习其他国家的文化带来了巨大的便利。首先，当一个人需要短时间内了解其他国家的信息时，互联网或者电视节目可能完全满足他的需要。例如，一个地质学专业的学生没必要为了完成一篇报告而全世界旅行。通过点击鼠标，我们可以查阅到大量已经公开的信息和数据。

　　总之，一个人究竟是需要亲自去一个国家旅游还是通过电视和互联网来了解一个国家，这主要取决于他的具体需求和目的。
