　　I’d like to talk about Jim, a very agreeable, sincere, and sweet person. As far as I know, his family’s from Brighton, a beautiful coastal city in the south of the UK, and he’s worked

for an international boarding school for more than ten years. Well, that’s pretty much everything I know about his life.

　　The first time we met was many years ago when he just moved into our apartment block. Jim held a house warming party that night, invited some neighbors over to his place. At the

party, Jim chatted with everyone enthusiastically, listened to what everyone said, and responded positively. I noticed that he would pay close attention to the speaker and make eye contact with them. His politeness is reflected by his way of talking to others. We had a pleasant conversation and got to know each other. Jim was the life of the party, telling one good story after another, which was fascinating.

　　Jim is the epitome of politeness. He always followed the general rules of politeness, like holding open doors and saying “bless you” after a sneeze. To my surprise, I never found him

pushing people for anything. Judging people was not at all a part of his personality. He was very caring and was always reading to lend a helping hand. Politeness is a very nice quality. I

want to learn how to be polite from Jim. I feel very relaxed when I spend time with him, and time goes very fast.
